The Genesis of BodhiShree: A Journey of Enlightenment
Every organisation has an origin story. Ours begins not with a business idea, but with a lifelong inquiry into people, purpose and potential.
Inspired by the journey of Prince Siddhartha Gautama - whose awakening under the Bodhi tree symbolised insight born of deep presence - BodhiShree draws from the same spirit of mindful exploration and inner clarity.
Founded in 2012 by Apurva Sharma, BodhiShree emerged as a space for meaningful conversations, courageous exploration and conscious change. A space where individuals, leaders and organisations are invited to reconnect with what truly matters - to them, their teams and their systems.

Meet the Founder
Behind BodhiShree is a practitioner who has walked both worlds - business and human development - and learned how to bridge them meaningfully.
Hi, I'm the founder of BodhiShree - and I bring over four decades of rich experience across diverse industries, roles, geographies and cultures earned by working with pioneer organisations like OASES, NIIT and American Express. Along this journey, my association with Vyaktitva, a boutique OD and leadership consulting firm, further deepened my exposure to diverse client contexts and strengthened my consulting and coaching practice.
My journey has taken me from boardrooms to grassroots communities, from multinational organisations to deeply personal coaching conversations. Along the way, I've worked with leaders, teams and changemakers - helping them find alignment, tap into their inner wisdom and lead with authenticity.
One of the things that sets me apart is that I straddle the worlds of business management and customer service operations on one hand and HRD, Leadership Learning & Development and Coaching on the other. This gives me a rare, real-world blend of both - the rigour of execution and the depth of people insight - not the lens of an ivory-tower consultant, but that of a grounded, whole-systems facilitator.
What drives me is the human story behind the professional mask - the dreams, doubts, decisions and turning points that shape people's lives and leadership. I listen deeply. I challenge compassionately. I bring presence, structure and insight - all with a light touch.
