This policy explains what personal information BodhiShree collects through this website, bodhishree.org, why we collect it, who helps us handle it and the choices you have. BodhiShree is the coaching and consulting practice founded by Apurva Sharma, based in New Delhi NCR, India. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean BodhiShree.
What we collect and why
When you contact us through the website
The contact form asks for:
your name, so we know who we are speaking to
your email address, so we can reply
your organisation, if you choose to give it, so we understand the context of your enquiry
your preferred way of being contacted, if you choose one
your message
We use this information to read and respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of our conversation. Each message is also checked automatically for signs of spam, and one that looks like spam is set aside rather than passed on. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not send marketing emails.
When you email, call or message us directly
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send along with your contact details, and use them in the same way. WhatsApp messages are also covered by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
When you browse the website
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how the website is used and how quickly it loads. They record information such as the pages visited, the website that referred you, and your browser, device type and country. They do not use cookies and are not used to identify you.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details so it can deliver pages to you, keep the website secure and prevent misuse. When you send the contact form, your IP address is also used briefly to stop repeated submissions.
Protecting the contact form from spam
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a message is being sent by a person rather than an automated program. To do this, Cloudflare receives information such as your IP address and browser details. It uses this to run the check for us, and also to improve how it detects automated programs. Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy policy explains more.
Cookies
The public pages of this website do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. The only cookie the website itself sets is a sign-in cookie for the people who manage its content, which visitors never receive. The Cloudflare check on the contact form may use a cookie that is strictly necessary to tell people apart from automated programs.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run the website and our email. They handle information on our behalf, except that Cloudflare also uses information from its spam check to improve that service, as described above:
Vercel, which hosts the website, provides the analytics described above and stores the website's images
Neon, which provides the database where contact form messages are kept
Resend, which delivers our notifications of new messages and the replies we send from the website
Cloudflare, which runs the spam check on the contact form
Google Workspace, which provides our email
We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Where your information is stored
Our service providers store and process information on servers outside India, including in Singapore and the United States.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, we rely on our legitimate interests in replying to people who contact us and in keeping the website secure and free of spam. Your information is handled in India, where we are based, and by our service providers in other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and our replies only for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of our conversation. If you ask us to delete yours, we will delete it from the website's records and from our email. Analytics information is not linked to you.
How we protect it
The website uses an encrypted connection. Access to messages and to the website's content management system is limited to the people who run BodhiShree and its website, and is protected by passwords. No website can be completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
correct or update it
delete it
stop using it, where you gave your consent, by withdrawing that consent
If you are in India, you can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to act for yourself. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have similar rights under data protection law, including the right to object to how we use your information.
To make a request, email us at the address below from the email address you used to contact us. We will reply within one month.

This website links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your information, so please read their privacy policies.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
